This picture just seemed destined to have this name, the shape just looks like a bird to me, but the gradient that i got was the only one which seemed to fit! Hope all you peeps out there like this. c & c always welcome. Enjoy!

P.S Sorry about the huge filesize for those without broadband, but the lower quality optimisations just didnt look good

Thanks for the tip. Might be worth looking into, I've heared that fractals make good heightfields for 3D rendering.
